Meet Idalid Hernandez

Hi,
My name is Idalid Hernandez and I'm 15 years old. My name might be hard to pronounce but my name is just pronounced like Italy, just spelled differently. I am going to be a sophomore (grade 10) at Detroit Cristo Rey. What I like to do most of my time is just hang out with my friends and have good adventures or sometimes stay at home and watch some Netflix. Some fun facts would be that I like to skateboard and also love to take pictures of nature. I'm also usually a shy person at first but later on, my shyness starts to fade away.

I first got involved in gardening after becoming a volunteer for a community park started by the Ideal Group back in 2011. After volunteering week after week, I was able to become an employee and maintain these gardens with the help of different community groups.
